Traditional Roofing Felt
Conventional Roofing Felt is collected of a fiber base inundated and then covered with bitumen and surfaced with whichever sand or a slate finish. Worn in a single, two layers or three-layer purpose, these goods are perfect for use as momentary waterproofing or for use on sheds or backyard establishments. Established Roofing Felts are not suggested for use on habitable buildings, such as household extensions.
Polyester Based Roofing Felt
Universal Purpose Roofing Felts are collected of either polyester or glass fiber bases, soaked and covered with corroded bitumen. They offer a superior quantity of presentation, power and firmness compared to fiber based felts. Bonded with chilly functional adhesives or hot bonding bitumen, they are mainly used in two or three layer systems and are best for use on garages and household extensions, even though they can in addition be used on garden establishments where amplified presentation is necessary.
The Polyester 180 Sand also creates a perfect nailed grounding layer when using torch-on membranes on a wood decking.
Torch-on Roofing Felt
The roofing felts obtainable in this variety provide for all the essential torch-on needs of the builder's mercantile. The range combines polyester or glass fiber based harvest, soaked and coated with customized bitumen. They offer complete options for high presentation and financial system specifications. Products surrounded by the range can be functional as a single corrective layer, over bituminous waterproofing, or form a multi-layer urbanized system. Practical by using a gas torch, these products are appropriate for use on garages, household extensions and manufacturing/marketable sites.
Cold seal Self-Adhesive Roofing
Cold seal self-adhesive roofing felts are cool, calm and collected of polyester bases, flooded and coated with SBS customized bitumen. The repeal side is treated through a self-adhesive outside layer and surfaced with a detachable discharge sheet. Functional as a two-layer institute, both layers are bonded by the elimination of the release sheet on the back. Cold seal self-adhesive roofing membranes are high show products, preferably suitable for use on household garages and extensions. The self-adhesive purpose, joint with the rapid trim variety of pre-formed edge fine points obtainable, make them safer and easier to inaugurate, given that long-lasting, cost effective, and guaranteed performance.

Check the mortar on chimneys and parapet walls, both in between the brick and on top. If it’s damaged or deteriorated, have it tuck-pointed. Any mason can perform this work.
